Language Programmes for Schools

Peninsula Learn partners with primary schools to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned language programmes during school hours. We bring Spanish, French, Italian, and introductory German directly to your classroom with a qualified, experienced native teacher.

Why Introduce Languages in Primary School?

Research consistently shows that children who learn a second language from a young age develop stronger cognitive skills, greater cultural awareness, and improved performance across other subjects.

Ireland’s Primary Language Curriculum encourages schools to offer modern foreign languages, and the “Say Yes to Languages” initiative has made it easier than ever for primary schools to introduce language learning. Peninsula Learn is here to help you make that happen.

Say Yes to Languages

The “Say Yes to Languages” initiative, supported by the Department of Education and Post-Primary Languages Ireland (PPLI), encourages primary schools to offer sampler modules in modern foreign languages. Peninsula Learn is available to deliver these modules in your school.

Whether you’re introducing the sampler module for the first time or looking to build on an existing programme, we can tailor our delivery to match the initiative’s guidelines and your school’s needs.
